Policies

Large gatherings, such as graduation parties or weddings or similar events, are not permitted at the Treetop Villa Cabins. Any planned gathering at Deluxe and Traditional Cabins or Eagle House must be approved through the Main Office prior to the reservation. Management reserves the right to dismiss any unapproved or disruptive gatherings at any time.

Renter must be at least 25 years of age and must be in attendance and responsible for the rental unit. No one under the age of 25 will be given the keys upon check-in. During check-in a credit card number is required to be held as a security deposit. Any charges for damages will be charged to the credit card and an itemized list of charges will be sent to you.

Due to our location near wooded and natural areas, you may encounter various insects, including ladybugs, house flies, stink bugs, springtails, millipedes, carpenter bees, and wasps. While all of our properties are professionally treated for pests on a monthly basis, the mountain environment is not.

As a result, insects may occasionally find their way indoors, especially during certain times of the year. By booking your stay, you acknowledge this possibility and understand that refunds will not be issued for insect sightings.

If you experience an issue, we’re happy to coordinate with our pest control provider to address it promptly.

Check-In / Check-Out Procedure:

• The check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and check out is promptly at 11:00 a.m.
• Earlier check-in will be permitted if the cabin is ready for an additional fee.
• Check in will not be permitted before 1:00 p.m.
• If you are unable to check in before 8:00 p.m., please call the park office to make after-hour arrangements.
• An active debit or credit card must be given beforehand to receive the keys to your cabin.
• There is a check-out list located in each cabin

Quiet Hours:

The quiet hours in the park are 11:00p to 8:00a. Loud or excessive noise, demonstrations, disturbances, disorderly conduct, profanity, public drunkenness, and possession of controlled substances are strictly prohibited and unlawful. Guests should always remember to respect other visitors by keeping noise to a minimum.

Pet Fees:

• If a pet is detected in a non-pet friendly cabin a $250 fee + the pet fee for that style of cabin will be charged to your credit card on file, no exceptions.
• A maximum of two pets is permitted in the Eagle House, Cardinal, Hummingbird, Bluebird, Robin, and Rabbit Cabins for an additional fee of $30.00 plus tax per pet/ per day, maximum pet fee is $120.00 per stay per pet.
• A maximum of two pets are permitted in the Blue Spruce and Black Walnut Treetop Villas for an additional fee of $60 per pet/ per stay.
• If pet hair, food, or any other evidence of a pet is found in the cabin, the card on file will be charged without prior notice to the guest. An email will then be sent to the guest with photos and an updated invoice.
• Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them.

Cabin Keys:

Lost or unreturned keys will result in a fee of $30 per key ($60 total if both are missing).

• Each cabin reservation includes two keys. To complete checkout, please return both keys to the Main Office-do not leave them inside the cabin.
• If you are departing outside of Main Office hours, a key drop box is located to the right of the Main Office entrance.

Towel Service Information:

For weekly rentals, one fresh set of bath towels is provided upon request with at least 24-hour notice (requests must be made by noon). For stays of less than four nights, towel exchanges are available for a $30.00 fee, per occurrence.

• Please note: Grand Vue towels are not permitted at the Aquatic Center. Pool towels are available for purchase at the Aquatic Center if needed.
• 1 laundry detergent is given to Traditional, Deluxe and Eagle Cabins. Additional laundry soap can be purchased at the Gift Shop or Main Office.

Hot Tub Maintenance:

• There is no additional charge for hot tub use. If the hot tub malfunctions and cannot be used for the duration of the stay, a $25 credit will be applied to the final bill.
• Treetop Villa hot tubs are serviced daily around 11:00 A.M. by the Grand Vue Maintenance Team.
• If guests are not in the Treetop Villa at the time of servicing, 2 Maintenance Team members will be sent in to service the hot tub.

Housekeeping Maintenance:

• If housekeeping finds an item missing and it was not reported at check-in time, you will be charged for these items.
• If any dishes are broken during your stay, please let the park office know. You will not be charged if a glass is broken.
• Please do not use washcloths or towels for rags. Charges will apply if linen is damaged.

Power Outage:

In the event of power outage, Grand Vue cannot guarantee when power will return to the cabins, nor will we refund for any act of nature where loss of power affects our Park or your stay. Please note there are “Power Outage” totes located in each cabin. The totes contain flashlights and other items that may be helpful during the outage.

Extensive Cleaning Fees:

An additional charge levied on a guest when they leave the cabin in a significantly dirtier or more damaged state than is considered reasonable for standard cleaning. This fee is meant to cover the cost of cleaning beyond what is normally required between guests. Examples of when an extensive cleaning fee will be charged.

• Glitter or Confetti: Glitter or confetti may not be used in or outside the cabin. ($250)
• Pet Waste: Pet hair, urine, or feces left behind in or outside the cabin
• Grease and Grime: Excessive buildup of grease on appliances, stovetops, or in the oven.
• Food Residue: Stale food left in the refrigerator or pantry, or spills that have not been cleaned.
• Stains: Stains on carpets, upholstery, or walls that require professional cleaning.

Damage Fees:

• SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE CABINS. Any evidence of this will result in a $250.00 charge in addition to the reservation fee.
• Pet-Friendly Cabins: If couches, floors, doors, or any furniture are scratched, scraped, or damaged due to a pet, a charge will be applied to cover the cost of replacement and installation.

Cancellation Fees:

• Reservation dates cannot be transferred to another date.
• Cabins: 50% is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due upon arrival. When booking inside of 30 days entire balance is due at the time of booking. If a cancellation is necessary, providing full payment has been made you will receive 50% of your total payment.

Parking:

• Parking is not permitted around the Fire Pit Circle at the Treetop Villa Cabins.
• Guests may not park in another cabin’s designated parking area unless permission has been granted by the Main Office.
• Grand Vue reserves the right to tow any vehicle that blocks another guest’s parking area or restricts traffic flow through the park.
• Treetop Villas: 1 bedroom: 1 parking space, 2 bedrooms: 2 parking spaces, Deluxe Cabins may have up to 4 vehicles at each cabin. Alternate parking is located below the Aerial Park, by the aquatic facility, or at the Main Office. Eagle House: 6 parking spaces.

Vehicles & Other Transportation:

• For the safety of all guests, emergency vehicles and law enforcement must be able to access the cabin area at all times.
• Parking is limited to the designated areas near your cabin. Please do not drive or park on grass, roadways, or unmarked areas. If your group has additional vehicles, they may be required to use overflow parking as directed by staff.
• Speed limits throughout the property must be followed at all times for the safety of all guests and wildlife.
• Electric scooters (and similar personal transportation devices) are permitted. Riders must operate them responsibly and at low speeds. Helmets are strongly recommended.
• Reckless driving, excessive speed, or unsafe behavior with any vehicle or or decorations alternate transportation may result in removal from the property without refund.

Aquatic Facility & Mini Golf Access for Cabin Guests:

• While the outdoor Aquatic Facility and Mini Golf Course are in operation, cabin guests may enjoy both amenities at no additional cost.
• Access is limited to the maximum occupancy of the cabin. For example, a 2-bedroom Treetop Villa that sleeps 6 will receive 6 passes for the pool and mini golf.
• As stated in the towel service section, please remember towels provided at the cabins are not permitted at the Aquatic Facility.

Additional Rules and Regulations:

• • Please do not attach any signs or balloons to Grand Vue signage or cabins. Doing so can cause paint damage and create confusion for other guests. Any items found attached will be removed and discarded immediately. If paint damage occurs as a result, a $100 fee will be added to the reservation. Guests are welcome to post signage in grass areas as needed.
  • Firewood will be provided at initial check-in only. More wood is available for $20.00. Requests must be given to the main office not later than noon.
  • Please do not remove furniture from inside of cabins.
  • Parking is not permitted on the grass area around the cabins.
  • Only 1 parking space is provided for 1-bedroom Treetop Villas, and 2 parking spaces are provided for 2-bedroom Treetop Villas. Additional parking is located in the parking lot under the Aerial Adventure Park, and in the parking lot next to the Aquatic Center.
  • Kegs are not permitted in the cabins.
  • Due to fire regulations, visitors to your cabin must leave by 12:00 midnight and must not spend the night.
  • Please clean out the refrigerator and leave all dishes and cookware clean.
  • Please Turn off all lights, turn the thermostat to 70 degrees and lock the doors.
  • Please Make sure window coverings are down and open.

Any authorized representative of Grand Vue Park has the authority to revoke any and all permits or contracts upon findings of a violation of park rules and regulations by any person or group.
