What is Disc Golf?
Disc golf is a lot like golf except, instead of a ball and clubs, participants use a flying disc (not a regular frisbee). The sport was formalized in the 1970s and shares with golf the objective of completing each hole in the fewest strokes (or, in the case of disc golf, fewest throws).
Watch for flying discs! Check out our Black and Yellow Disc Golf Courses! Both courses have 18 baskets and were designed by Johnny Sias, the 1986 World Disc Golf Champion. The Yellow Course was created for quick play, it has shorter less difficult throws, while the Champion Black Course has longer more difficult moves. The Black Course walking distance is an estimated 3 miles while the Yellow Course is just under a mile.
