Grand Adventure Leadership Camps
Our lead staff members are certified teachers who design engaging, hands-on learning experiences tailored to each week’s theme. Campers will participate in collaborative activities that integrate West Virginia Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts Learning Standards across various learning venues.
Leadership Development
Leadership plays a key role in Grand Adventure Leadership Camps. Throughout the week, campers will develop essential leadership skills. Team-building exercises and career exploration activities will also be incorporated to enhance their learning experience.
All-Inclusive Experience
Our camps are designed to be accessible and enriching for all participants!
- Meals Provided – Breakfast and lunch are included through the Marshall County Schools Food Program.
- No Extra Fees – Activities like swimming, mini golf, and more are all included at no additional cost.

GALC Details
Ages: Kindergarten – 8th Grade (must be 5 years old and potty trained)
Time: 9:00am – 3:30pm
Days: Monday – Friday (No Camp July 4th)
Before Care: 7:30am – 9:00am
After Care: 3:30pm – 5:00pm
Pick-up/Drop-off: Chevron Learning Center
Transportation will be provided for Marshall County School students from centralized bus stops – Locations will be announced in early May.

4 Weeks: $359 (Additional Child $310.50)
1 Week: $98
Before & After Care
Daily: $5 per hour (Additional Child $3 per hour)
Unlimited: $210 (Additional Child $175)
*Additional children must be siblings
Camp Themes
Week 1: June 23 – 27 Adventure Week
Campers will test their skills on the “Mini Mountaineer Course”, search the park on a scavenger hunt and make their way to the Aerial Park for a rockwall climb!
Week 2: June 30 – July 3 Red, White and Blue
Campers will create their own American flags, tie-dye shirts, and star-spangled decorations. We will even have a safe sparkler lighting on Thursday! (No Camp 4th of July)
Week 3: July 7 – 11 Galaxy Glow
Campers will study planets, build rockets, and make glow-in-the-dark slime. We will also have a visit from Robert & Libby Strong from the The Smarte Center!
Week 4: July 14 – 18 Magic & Mystery
Campers will learn simple magic tricks and solve puzzles and clues to “escape” themed room.
Week 5: July 21 – 25 Christmas in July
Christmas Music, a “snow day” (Foam Machine!) and Christmas Crafts!
Week 6: July 28 – Aug. 1 Brush Strokes & Beats
Campers will use different techniques like splatter art and abstract designs. They will also collaborate on a large-scale chalk art design!
Week 7: Aug. 4 – Aug. 8 Summer Celebration
A full week of refreshing fun! Campers will enjoy a sundae bar at flurry’s ice cream shop and finish out the week with classic camp games such as balloon pop and freeze tag. We also may try to spend some more time at the pool!
