Grand Adventure Leadership Camps
Our lead staff members are certified teachers who design engaging, hands-on learning experiences tailored to each week’s theme. Campers will participate in collaborative activities that integrate West Virginia Math, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts Learning Standards across various learning venues.
Leadership Development
Leadership plays a key role in Grand Adventure Leadership Camps. Throughout the week, campers will develop essential leadership skills. Team-building exercises and career exploration activities will also be incorporated to enhance their learning experience.
All-Inclusive Experience
Our camps are designed to be accessible and enriching for all participants!
- Meals Provided – Breakfast and lunch are included through the Marshall County Schools Food Program.
- No Extra Fees – Activities like swimming, mini golf, and more are all included at no additional cost.

GALC Details
Ages: Kindergarten – 8th Grade (must be 5 years old and potty trained)
Time: 9:00am – 3:30pm
Days: Monday – Friday (No Camp July 4th)
Before Care: 7:30am – 9:00am
After Care: 3:30pm – 5:00pm
Pick-up/Drop-off: The Camp Building
Transportation will be provided for Marshall County School students from centralized bus stops – Locations will be announced in early May.

Before & After Care
Daily: $5 per hour (Additional Child $3 per hour)
Unlimited: $250 (Additional Child $200)

Camp Themes
Week 1: June 22 – 26 Aloha Summer! Welcome Back, Campers!
Kick off with surfboard crafts, a Summer Bucket List, beach ball question games, paper plate palm trees, homemade leis, and a fun-name game. Get creative with sand bottle art and “All About Me” sundaes. SPECIAL ACTIVITY – Show and Tell
Week 2: June 29 – July 3 Stars and Stripes
Get patriotic with flag painting, red, white, and blue bling, marble fireworks, and sparkle bottles. SPECIAL ACTIVITY – Tie-Dye Extravaganza
Week 3: July 6 – 10 Disney Week
Sing your heart out at Disney karaoke, solve Disney word scrambles, color your favorite characters, and put together Disney puzzles. SPECIAL ACTIVITY – Movie Magic
Week 4: July 13 – 17 Nature & Outdoor Adventures
Dig into gardening, rock painting, and nature art. Embark on a scavenger hunt, craft bird feeders, and create fingerprint bugs and flower bouquets. SPECIAL ACTIVITY – Nature Walk
Week 5: July 20 – 24 Christmas in July
Deck the halls with Christmas crafts, play holiday games, and join the snowball toss and launcher fun. Build a sand snowman to top it all off! SPECIAL ACTIVITY – Snow Foam Party
Week 6: July 27 – July. 31 Under the Sea
“Dive into sea” animal crafts, a water balloon toss, ocean slime, fish tank creations, and seashell painting. SPECIAL ACTIVITY – Sea Animal Melty Beads
Week 7: Aug 3 – Aug. 7 Friendship and Fun
Challenge yourself with Minute to Win It, scavenger hunts, puzzles, team challenges, relay races, and obstacle courses. SPECIAL ACTIVITY – Escape Room Adventure
